Marketing
Coordinator
ADT currently has an opening for a Marketing Coordinator.
This is a hybrid position that combines the responsibilities of
a junior marketing professional with the creative aspects of graphic
and web design. This person will be integral to the branding and
customer-facing presentation of the Company’s web, print
and product images. This person will have regular customer interactions
and will have a profound effect on how the company is perceived
by customers, investors and the media. The position reports to
the Office Manager with a dotted line relationship to the President.
Job Summary: Main duties include managing a
marketing calendar, coordinating all trade show activity, managing
inbound customer inquiries, maintain a marketing database, designing
product brochures and product packaging, and designing/maintaining
company website.
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Manage trade show activities.
- Be first point of contact on inbound customer inquiries.
- Maintain company website.
- Provide graphical layout for company brochures and product
packaging.
- Provide assistance to other team members as needed.
- Help maintain accurate budgets and expenditures for projects.
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
- Outstanding communication skills, both verbal and written,
are absolutely required.
- Good capability with graphic design tools is required.
- Must have at least 2 years experience managing the layout
and content of a static website.
- Attention to detail.
- Ability to multi-task in a highly unstructured, fast-paced
environment yet still ensure critical tasks get completed on
time and with appropriate quality.
- Ability to schedule tasks and complete them on time.
- Ability to establish priorities, work independently, and proceed
with objectives without supervision.
- Ability to exercise courtesy, tact, and diplomacy in receiving
callers and answering questions from persons both inside and
outside the company.
Credentials:
- Bachelor’s degree from a four-year university.
- Two years experience with graphic design tools. THIS
REQUIREMENT IS RIGID. PLEASE DO NOT APPLY UNLESS YOU HAVE MET
THESE CRITERIA.
- Mastery of Microsoft Office suite, especially MS Word, Excel
and Outlook.
- At least two years experience designing content and managing
a simple, static website.
- The most important credential is a demonstrated ability to
complete work on time.
- A positive attitude and enthusiasm for one's job is essential.
While this is an entry-level position, it is nonetheless critical
to ADT's operations, and great care will be taken to ensure
this individual lives up to ADT's high standards for professional
conduct and integrity.
Special Requirements:
- Basic office hours are 8:30 – 5:00. Willingness to work
overtime, nights, and weekends on occasion.
